as the owner of a small CPA firm it's a dilemma the dilemma is are our work can be seasonal number one number two finding good staff and retaining them is always a challenge and managing growth is a challenge and when you're a small firm and you're growing as I did from two people to three to four to five and so on every incremental step is one which you don't want to take you know if you're a two-man firm and you're adding one more person you're really increasing in by 50% for example so that's always been a challenge in any for any small firm

ABOUT Shawn Parikh

Shawn Parikh is the Founder-Chairman of Entigrity Offshore Staffing. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he has over 15 years of experience of being a problem solver for small to mid-size firms and over time he has given consultation to thousands of CPAs, accountants and tax pros. Shawn has always been a big believer and advocate of social enterprises and small accounting firms & business. He forged the foundations of Entigrity to help bridge the existing gaps that plague the accounting community, finding and retaing talent being a top concern. Shawn can be best described as a visionary and strategist on technology and firm management in the accounting profession. He consults and speaks on several topics ranging from Building Remote Team - Remote Working, Offshore Staffing, strategic planning, Scalability of Accounting Practice, cloud accounting, practice management, Linkedin Marketing, etc.

ABOUT Valay Parikh

With more than a decade of experience, Valay serves as the Vice-President of Entigrity Remote Staffing. Valay leads the India-centric Operations for the company, guiding its strength to unprecedented scales, with his guidance and leadership. Valay is a qualified Chartered Accountant himself. Beginning with public practice, he has served as a consultant and adviser to many small and mid-size businesses. Later on, he went on and co-founded Entigrity with Shawn. Valay has been phenomenal in building India Operations, with his core focus being on identifying and developing Indian talent pool for the company. Utilizing his experience, he developed and built robust HR policies and framework, developed strong training methodologies, and help clients with Financial Reporting, Business Analytics and Business Intelligence, thus creating strong and efficient processes for the clients.

ABOUT Christopher Rivera

Christopher Rivera, Chris serves as a Director of Client Relations and Business Development at Entigrity. He is an expert at leading and managing teams actively from the front. His expertise in sales, training, coaching, mentoring and influencing combined with his competitive nature makes him a strong leader. Chris has traveled through the length and width of the country and has spoken with more than five thousand CPAs, understanding their challenges and limitations. On the grounds of that, he can now easily provide opinions and solutions that can be immensely helpful to the professionals. He has also represented Entigrity at a number of major accounting conferences and networking events.

Ted Rosedale is the Vice President, Marketing for Entigrity. Ted is a consultant, an author, a speaker who specializes in accounting technology issues. He helps navigate the minefield of professional liability issues that accounting professionals face on a daily basis. He understands practical risk management for CPAs and risks faced in the profession. With his consultation, small business owners have been able boost their revenues and achieve higher profitability due to staffing strategies. He often writes insightful articles for accounting professionals. In his free time, Ted loves to compose music.
